Dance Photography

Yes, it’s become quite the past time of mine. Though with my cute captive models no one would blame me.

I’m captivated, smitten, and more full of pride than a mamma bear.  Some of you may notice the mommy goggles fully intact.  You’ll see two other fantastic dancers with these fancy dance prom dresses and these girls were on pointe all night (yes pun intended lol).

So glad the PPOC gives us opportunities to play like this.  Thanks for the great night everyone.

And here are a few behind the scenes shots.  Kristina worked so hard to pull this all together; Rotary Park had no idea what hit it!

How to choose the right photographer for your family

Knowing which photographer to choose for you and your baby can be a real challenge. You deserve the absolute best and spotting the difference between professionals and amateurs can be difficult. As a mother and accredited Maternity Portrait photographer, the last thing I want is for your baby in the hands of someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing. Which is why I created this free guide so you can avoid the pitfalls and know exactly what to look for. Enter your details below and I’ll email it straight out to you.

Shirah Itskovitch2“When working with newborns it is important to find not only an amazing photographer but also a photographer that works amazingly with newborns. Alana has children of her own and her motherly nature shows. She handled our baby as if her own and I was worry free the entire photo shoot. Being a first time mom, everything is scary but having Alana come to our home and work her magic was more than I could have asked for!”
