Toronto Maternity Photographer | Fit Mom-to-Be
When I look at this new family I think of the essence of the reason behind heirloom portraits. It goes beyond the depiction of an event, reaches deeper into the story of their lives and tells everyone what they feel.
You may not know it yet or you might just remember very clearly, that moment when you’re holding your oh-so-very big five year old and trying to describe how you felt the first time you felt them kick your belly (You know, that little spark; that very grounding and simultaneously uplifting moment when you realize that little soul is there; right there with you.) and you can’t. You can’t find the right words or words that are strong enough or mean enough or make sense to them. Well, a well-crafted photograph can.
Photographs can transcend language and time and speak right to your core. That’s why we do this.
