See all work by Alana

La belle vie.

Maternity Tuesday, December 10th 2013 3

Maternity photography has always been a passion of mine.  I know passion is such an overused word these days but when I’m working with a family expecting a new baby time doesn’t occur to me.

You have your hair and make up all done for you, and we get to chat (and my clients can tell you just how chatty I am!).

And the more we talk the more ideas I get.

We play with fabrics

and we play with lighting.

Most importantly we have a good time.

I have to say one of my real joys is when Dad can come.

It’s hard to explain but sometimes I swear they leave your session even move in love with you than when they walked in.

How to choose the right photographer for your family

Knowing which photographer to choose for you and your baby can be a real challenge. You deserve the absolute best and spotting the difference between professionals and amateurs can be difficult. As a mother and accredited Maternity Portrait photographer, the last thing I want is for your baby in the hands of someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing. Which is why I created this free guide so you can avoid the pitfalls and know exactly what to look for. Enter your details below and I’ll email it straight out to you.

Shirah Itskovitch2“When working with newborns it is important to find not only an amazing photographer but also a photographer that works amazingly with newborns. Alana has children of her own and her motherly nature shows. She handled our baby as if her own and I was worry free the entire photo shoot. Being a first time mom, everything is scary but having Alana come to our home and work her magic was more than I could have asked for!”
